Caitlin, or as her family calls her,Caiti, is a teenager who has had a diagnosis of bipolar, anxiety and alcoholism.Curently in recovery for all her diagnosis, she paints Ozark Gospel Rocks to encourage everyone to BELIEVE in God, recovery and a better life. At this time, there is no cure for mental illness, but Caiti believes she can and will have a full recovery and a successful life, in spite of her diagnosis.
Currently, Caiti attends school at night and will enter nursing school after graduation. Caiti plans to owrk with children with mental illness, sharing with them her expereiences and skills that she has learned to have a recovery plan and better quality of life.
Part of Cait's recovery plan incorporates writing poetry, which is featured in a book, "A Fmaily Garden", which can be found on this site. She also paints, sings and writes short stories.
Caiti lives in Texas with her parents, Deborah and Scott and her own personal Sage - a brindle chihauhau.
